Moore & Giles - @mooreandgiles

Moore & Giles is a sustainable leather company located in Forest, VA. The offer a variety of luxury leather bags, home goods & accessories, furniture, and more. There are multiple sides to the company, Lifestyle and Leather, each showcasing their own beautiful offerings. This makes it important to run multiple accounts pertaining to each as there are different customers for each side.

The main @mooreandgiles account focuses on the Lifestyle brand selling their leather bags, home goods & accessories and furniture.

Moore & Giles Leather - @mooreandgilesleather

The leather focused @mooreandgilesleather account focuses on the leather side to the brand. Here we make sure to post features and inspiration where our leather is being used. I also post weekly leather features to educate those who follow about the different collections we offer.

Moore & Giles On the Move - @mooreandgilesonthemove

The On the Move @mooreandgilesonthemove account focuses on the leather side to the brand, but in the Automotive, Marine, and Aviation industries. Here I post and repost features that we have been shown in, from sweet car projects to industrial helicopter and private jets. We also will feature monthly leathers that clients can purchase.

Social Media

Craft Happy.

Craft Happy is a company that sells Chunky Knit Yarn Knits and Yarn Skeins, the softest that you can find on the market. They also host virtual workshops for companies such as Meta, MailChimp, Google, Doordash, Discord, and more. Making sure that their brand image and voice translates across their social media platforms is my goal.

Creating an Instagram store and bringing their sales to social media was a must. This enables them to tag products in all of their posts and is so resourceful during times such as Black Friday and other high-sales times.

Campus Recreation.

From 2019-2021, I had the opportunity to have an influence on the direction of the Liberty Campus Recreation’s Instagram page. They underwent a departmental change which included the Marketing staff only working with the promotion of 5 to now 10 incredible diverse facilities.

The Instagram page alone has grown in 2.5K+ followers since May 2020.

One of the projects that I was tasked doing was creating social media videos highlighting the different facilities for students on campus to be educated on everything that is offered. It also gives them an opportunity to fully understand what the department of Campus Recreation stands for on Liberty’s campus. As seen above is an IGTV series called “Tuesday Takeover” where a full time staff member from a facility gives Campus Rec’s Instagram and Facebook followers a virtual tour of their facility. A “How To” series is also currently being posted on about how to do certain activities that students can participate in such as “How to Set Up A Tent” at the Hydaway Outdoor Center or “How to Learn the Basics of Spikeball” for Intramural Sports.

I was also the main social media planner, editor, and content producer for the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre. I had influence over the media efforts towards the page with caption and photo approval.

LMSC has a unique target audience of Liberty University students and competitive ski and snowboarders from around the nation.

One of the media efforts that we had started up is producing '“Technique Tuesdays” where every Tuesday a video demonstrating a snowboard or ski trick or technique is taught by Snowflex’s full time Snowboard and Ski School Instructor.

I was in charge of filming and editing these videos monthly. Normally a Diji Mimo Pro is used along with an iPhone and lapel mic. These posts had an increase in engagement as different kinds of techniques are posted.

Edna Martin Christian Center

In Summer 2019, I was a Communications Intern for a non profit called the Edna Martin Christian Center in Indianapolis, IN. They did not have an Instagram so I had to start on ground zero to build up their followers and engagers.

In a time span of 2.5 months, they grew from 0 to now 200+.

Grow it.

I wanted to highlight the community that EMCC served. They already had photos and interviews, so it was my job to create graphics and captions share their story.
